Three bundles make a square (100 sq ft). Measure your roof, add 10% waste for a simple gable or 15% for hips, valleys and dormers.

Measure length times width of each plane from the ground or eave, or use the footprint times your roof pitch multiplier.

Cut-up roofs need a bigger waste buffer for all those angles.
